Privacy Policy

What we collect & where it lives

Everything you log — profile, child details, feeds, sleep, diapers, milestones, photos, voice recordings, medical documents, symptoms and moods — is stored locally in your device's app storage. It never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it.

We don't require an account, email or login, and we don't collect analytics that personally identify you.

AI features

When you use an AI feature (Health Assistant, Daily Companion, Weekly Recap, Development Insights, Image Studio, Astrology), the text you enter and relevant context — such as your child's age or pregnancy week — is sent through a secure proxy operated by Wrexa Technologies LLC to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, and optionally Anthropic / OpenAI) solely to generate that response. We send only what's needed, we never attach your identity, and we do not retain these prompts after the reply is returned.

AI responses are informational and educational only — not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Sharing & third parties

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers, advertisers or ad networks. Buddo contains no third-party advertising SDKs and no cross-app tracking.

Data is shared only in these limited cases:

• AI providers — the prompt text described above, to generate your reply.
• Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase — to process a Premium purchase.
• OpenStreetMap — an approximate location query when you open Nearby Care.
• Legal obligation — if required by valid law or court order.

Device permissions

• Camera — scan medical reports and capture belly-bump / milestone photos.
• Photos — attach images to milestones, memories and documents.
• Microphone — record voice memories, stored on your device only.
• Location — used only to find nearby hospitals, clinics and pharmacies when you open that feature. Never stored or shared.
• Notifications — gentle local reminders. No remote push tracking.

You can revoke any permission any time in your device's system settings.

Payments

Buddo Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple In-App Purchase (iOS). We never see or store your card details — those are handled entirely by Google/Apple. We keep only a local record that your device has unlocked Premium.

Children's data

Buddo is intended for use by parents and caregivers (adults aged 18+). It is not directed at children and is not designed for or targeted to children under 13. Any child information is entered by the parent, stays on the parent's device, and remains under the parent's control at all times. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data security

Your on-device data is protected by your device's OS-level encryption (iOS Data Protection / Android app-sandbox encryption). Traffic to our AI proxy is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS. Because there's no central account, there's no server-side database of your data to breach.

Deleting your data

Because Buddo has no user account, there is no server-side profile to delete. You can erase your data at any time:

• In the app — Settings → Backup & Data → Delete all data.
• Uninstall — removing the app deletes all locally stored data.
• Device settings — Android: Settings → Apps → Buddo → Storage → Clear data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and India's DPDP Act), you have the right to access, correct, export or erase your data, and to withdraw consent. Buddo gives you all of this directly in the app, because your data lives on your device — you can view, edit, export and delete it yourself at any time. For anything else, contact contact@wrexa.com.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page and the "Last updated" date whenever our practices change. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
